For years, I watched TikTok from a safe distance like someone peeking into a wedding reception before deciding whether to dance. I already had platforms. I already had systems. I already had places where couples could find me. So every time someone asked, “Are you on TikTok?” my answer was usually a polite version of “I’ll think about it.” Translation: I was overwhelmed by the idea of learning another platform from scratch.
The truth is, social media has changed. Couples are discovering vendors differently than they did even a few years ago. They want personality before inquiry forms, connection before consultations, and moments that feel real before making decisions. TikTok isn’t just trends and dances—it’s storytelling, education, behind-the-scenes moments, and letting people experience your energy before they ever meet you. And as someone who believes ceremonies should feel human and memorable, that actually aligns with how I already operate.
So… Wed By Norm officially has a TikTok.
No, I do not have all the answers yet. No, I’m not promising perfectly edited videos, viral moments, or pretending I suddenly speak fluent Gen Z. But I am promising curiosity, consistency, and a willingness to learn. Over the rest of 2026, I want to experiment, improve, and build a space where couples and wedding professionals feel like they’re getting a real look into this world.
Expect ceremony insights, wedding truths nobody tells you, officiant education, wedding-day stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and probably a few moments where I lovingly roast the things the wedding industry pretends are normal. If you’ve followed me this far, thank you for growing with me.
Now I’m passing the mic to you: what do you want to see from Wed By Norm on TikTok? More ceremony advice? Wedding guest hot takes? Behind-the-scenes? Vendor conversations? Drop your ideas—I’m listening.
